A self-described "introvert," Delainy O'Hern's gregarious smile and engaging persona say otherwise now, and it "could be," she says, from her experiences as a freshman at WC.
"I love my classes and my instructors, and it's been a good experience living in Coyote Village. You learn to stand on your own."
Her psychology instructor Don Jacobs has recognized a sensitivity and intuitiveness in her that would make a good neuropsychologist, and Delainy, who is thinking about a career in radiology technology, says that's a possibility, too.
"My instructors here are helping me explore options, and I'm really learning a lot about myself. Everyone pays attention to their students, and it's a great learning environment."
